Privacy policy

1. General provisions

1.1. By using the Tehnomag.md online store website, the user fully agrees with the privacy policy provisions and the conditions for processing personal data.

1.2. If the user disagrees with all or any of the conditions set out in the privacy policy, they must stop using the online store services.

1.3. The administration does not verify the accuracy of personal data provided by the user.

2. Subject of the privacy policy

2.1. This Privacy Policy sets out the obligations of the Tehnomag online store regarding non-disclosure and protection of personal data that the user provides when registering on the online store website or when placing an order to purchase a product.

2.2. Personal data allowed for processing under this privacy policy are provided by the user by completing the registration form on Tehnomag.md in the registration section or when placing an order and include the following information:

• 2.2.1. First and last name
• 2.2.2. Contact phone number
• 2.2.3. Email address
• 2.2.4. Product delivery address
• 2.2.5. Other information needed to provide services or sell products to users

2.3. The online store protects data transmitted automatically while viewing advertising blocks and while visiting pages where a system statistics script (pixel) is installed.

2.4. Disabling cookies may make it impossible to access parts of the online store website that require authentication.

2.5. Any personal information not mentioned above (purchase history, browsers and operating systems used, etc.) is subject to storage and non-disclosure, except in the cases provided in clauses 4.2 and 4.3 of this Privacy Policy.

3. Purposes of collecting the user’s personal information

3.1. Personal data of a Tehnomag online store user may be used for the purposes of:

• 3.1.1. Identifying a user registered on the online store website in order to place an order
• 3.1.2. Providing the user with access to personalized resources of the online store website
• 3.1.3. Establishing a communication channel with the user, including sending notifications and requests related to using the online store website, providing services, and processing the user’s requests
• 3.1.4. Determining the user’s location to ensure security and prevent fraud
• 3.1.5. Confirming the authenticity and integrity of personal data provided by the user
• 3.2.1. Notifying the online store website user about the order status
• 3.2.2. Providing the user, with their consent, with product updates, special offers, price information, newsletters, and other information held by the Tehnomag online store

4. Methods and terms of processing personal information

4.1. Processing of the user’s personal data is carried out without time limitation by any lawful means.

4.2. The user agrees that the Tehnomag online store has the right to transfer personal data to third parties, in particular to courier services, solely for the purpose of fulfilling and delivering the order placed by the user on Tehnomag.md.

4.3. The user’s personal data may be provided to public authorities of the Republic of Moldova only on the basis of and in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

4.4. The Tehnomag online store takes the organizational and technical measures needed to protect the user’s personal information against unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other unlawful actions by third parties.

5. Obligations of the parties

5.1. The user agrees to provide accurate information about their personal data that may be required for the online store to provide services;

5.1.2. To update and complete the information provided about their personal data if such information changes.

5.2. The administration of the Tehnomag online store undertakes:

• 5.2.1. To take all possible measures to ensure and maintain the confidentiality of personal information (data) provided by the user
• 5.2.2. To delete the user’s personal data immediately upon receiving a deletion request from them at info@tehnomag.md

6. Liability of the parties

6.1. If the Tehnomag online store fails to fulfill its assumed obligations, it is liable for compensating damage caused to the user in connection with unlawful use of their personal data.

6.2. In the event of loss or disclosure of the user’s confidential personal data, the Tehnomag online store assumes no liability if such data:

• 6.2.1. Became public previously
• 6.2.2. Were obtained from third parties before they were obtained by representatives of the Tehnomag online store

7. Additional provisions

7.1. The Tehnomag online store reserves the right to amend the provisions of this privacy policy without obtaining the user’s consent.

7.2. The new privacy policy enters into force only from the moment it is published on the Tehnomag.md website.
